CARE & MAINTENANCE
Bundles
Co-Wash: Begin by treating your hair extensions to a luxurious co-wash using a sulfate-free shampoo and a nourishing deep conditioner. Gently massage the products into your hair, ensuring that every strand is coated. This step not only removes impurities but also helps to retain the hair's natural moisture, leaving it feeling soft, silky, and rejuvenated.
Dry: After the wash, give your extensions the care they deserve by allowing them to air dry or using a low heat setting on your blow dryer. This gentle method safeguards the integrity of the hair, minimizing moisture loss and preventing any potential damage from excessive heat. Take your time during this step, ensuring that each strand dries thoroughly while maintaining its shine and vitality.
Detangle: To maintain the health and longevity of your hair, it's important to detangle it properly. Start by using a wide-tooth comb, beginning from the tips and slowly working your way upward. This approach prevents breakage and minimizes any potential damage, ensuring that your hair remains strong and resilient. Take your time with this step, gently working through any knots or tangles, leaving your hair smooth, manageable, and free from any unnecessary stress.
By following these detailed steps, you can ensure that your hair extensions receive the utmost care and attention, allowing them to stay beautiful, healthy, and vibrant longer.
Remember to Co-wash your extensions every two weeks, using part shampoo and part conditioner in lukewarm water to extend the life of your extensions.
Wigs

Wash: Begin by using a sulfate-free shampoo specifically designed for wigs to thoroughly cleanse your wig. This gentle formulation effectively removes impurities while preserving the wig's color and texture. After shampooing, follow up with a deep conditioner that is enriched with nourishing ingredients to provide deep hydration and restore the wig's natural luster. Massage the products into the hair, ensuring that every strand is coated, for a luxurious and rejuvenating experience. This step not only cleanses the wig but also helps to retain its moisture, leaving it feeling irresistibly soft, silky, and beautifully revived.

Air Dry: After the cleansing process, it is recommended to let your wig air dry naturally on a mannequin head. This allows the wig to maintain its structural integrity and ensures that it dries evenly from root to tip. By air drying, you can avoid exposing the wig to excessive heat that may cause damage or alter its shape. Embrace the gentle airflow as it delicately dries your wig, preserving its original style and giving it a natural bounce.

Untangle with Care: To detangle the strands of your wig, take your time and handle it with utmost care. Begin by using a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and gradually working your way up to the crown. This approach minimizes any potential stress on the hair fibers and prevents unnecessary breakage. Be mindful of the delicate lace, ensuring that you avoid tugging or pulling on it. By exercising caution and patience, you can maintain the longevity of your wig while keeping it looking effortlessly flawless.

How to Color Your Bundles

For non-professionals, we highly recommend utilizing the watercolor method for hair coloring. This approach helps prevent chemical damage to your hair while achieving the desired color Material needed:
-
1 bucket of water (about 2 liters)
-
3-6 drops of hair dye (Creme of Nature and Adore are good brands)
-
Whisking utensil
-
Gloves
-
Towel for drying hair after dyeing
Steps
-
Bring water to a light boil, then let it sit for about 10 minutes (or until the water is lukewarm); remove from heat and add to a heat-safe container
-
Pour the drops of dye into the heat-safe container and mix with your whisking utensil until the water is the color of the hair dye
-
Put your gloves on—it can get messy!
-
Take your Belle Bree Hair extensions and submerge them in the dye mixture
-
Allow your extensions to sit in the mixture for about 25 minutes
-
Once your timer goes off, check the hair to ensure it’s the color you are looking for — (if you’re looking for a deeper color, repeat steps 2-7; if not, move to step 9)
-
Once your hair extensions are the color you want them, drain the excess water off with your hand and allow them to dry on a towel
-
When dry, install them and fall in love with your new, colorful look!
To ensure optimal results when dyeing your extensions, follow these steps:
-
Prepare a clear space for the dyeing process.
-
If you're having a stylist install the extensions, dye them a couple of days before your appointment to avoid any mishaps.
-
If you're dyeing bundles, keep them intact to make the dyeing process easier.
-
Make sure the hair dye is thoroughly mixed to achieve an even color.
By following these guidelines, you can achieve the desired outcome while maintaining the integrity of your extensions.
Daily Care and Bedtime Routine

Daily care for your hair extensions is just as important as caring for your natural hair. It's essential to keep them clean, moisturized, and tangle-free to maintain their longevity and ensure they always look their best.
Here are some tips for a daily care routine:
-
Use a soft-bristle brush or wide comb when brushing your hair extensions.
-
At night, ensure your hair is protected. Choose between braiding or wrapping with a silk or satin scarf to guard against tangling.
-
Sleep on a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction on your hair
